The Early Days: From Struggles to Strength

Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, by my single mother and grandparents, I learned resilience, kindness, and wisdom early on. Despite their support, I struggled in traditional education, often feeling out of place. My inner drive pushed me to succeed in unconventional ways, navigating a world that seemed to misunderstand me.

Self-Discovery and Reconnection

At 21, I bought my first townhouse, a milestone that symbolized success. Yet, I felt unfulfilled, chasing external goals while ignoring my inner needs. Burnt out and disconnected, I realized I was living someone else’s version of success.

Through self-discovery, I embraced my differences and started breaking free from societal expectations. Tools like professional massage training and emotional freedom practices helped me reconnect with myself. Cannabis became a gateway for expanding my mind, while deconstructing evangelical beliefs and toxic ideologies deepened my growth.

The Turning Point: A Life Aligned with Truth

A transformative moment occurred when I found myself overwhelmed, sitting on my living room floor. In that vulnerable space, I reconnected with my true self, giving myself permission to live authentically.

I moved to a new neighborhood, surrounded myself with like-minded individuals, and began healing. A mentor guided me into personal transformation, helping me align my life with my values and purpose.

Embracing My Passions

I realized I could explore all my passions without compromising. Spirituality, racial justice, business, and travel all became integral to my life. This realization led to my podcast, Leaving the Church to Find God, and a marketplace featuring ethically sourced, fair-trade goods.

Abundance is about embracing all parts of yourself while trusting the universe to support you. It means living authentically and building a community that lifts you up. It’s about pursuing passions, fostering love, and redefining success.
